You have 1 million players to play with.. are you really worried about players not queuing up with you cause of a training range?
Of course trying out the scopes is a good idea too, as well testing to see if supressors, compensators etc affect drop and speed. Then there's stocks, foregrips and how much of an affect they have, whether it varies gun to gun. Then obviously there's how much damage each gun and calibre does at certain distances, and when each gun/calibre becomes inaccurate at range.
Also, how much each level of vest and helmet protects the player as well as which parts of the body they protect, ie are there any weak spots, and how to recognise what the enemy is wearing in a split second. Then there's throwables, the damage they do, the range they can be thrown, the timers, the effectiveness. Lots of stuff to check out.
And also how youre only able to practice firefights against real people, because you got to struggle your way into "beeing skilled"
This makes it necessary to either hot drop, or develop own strategies to practice ingame
For example; when i started the game my premade and i always looked for a compound in the middle of the circle and shot at everything thats moving
The house gave us enough protection to not get instantly blown up and gave us time to get a feeling for recoil, bulletdrop and velocity
I guess overall it makes the game more "hardcore" with a longer learning period, which rewards those who spent the time to survive and practice ingame
On the otherside it sucks for new players to get into the game, because you will get rekkt for the first few hundred of hours, without fps experience
It feels rewarding to be the king in public matches, at least for me
I can't believe I agree completely with Mason on a subject...what is this world coming to :)
*questions reality*
It's a dark day indeed.
Indeed, it's a new era
i said before coz i really do have a fealing we will see that soon on live servers ...
BUT STILL !!!
Bluehole u broke my heart ,, mobile before pc ? </3
true ,,, the whole point is to keep it hardcore ,,, but denying new players the chance to practice makes them ez targets... this takes the hardcore game play away ... u wont be competing with people who got to learn how the mechanics work ...
If u had a place where u can jump in and start practicing on all the guns it would increase the number of players who understand the mechanics of the guns in the game, therefor increasing the competition.. thats my point of view and i believe this would create a new army of hardcore players in the servers , not jumping in a game and start owning players who didnt get the chance to learn and practice..
Well said both of you.
Wanting to pratice means someone is noob? Nice Logic....
Will they? Is there something wrong with discussing it? It's only been a hot topic for a year now.
