Resetting career and stats?

All of my toil is wasted! I just saw myself previously having a total rating of 1,535 and a win rating of 1332- approximately 1.60% and 1.00% rankings, respectively. Now all data is lost and my stats just reset. I'm sorry if I'm recently new in PUBG (and you may mock me as much as you want), but is this common?

they reset it every patch which its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

every month is a new leaderboard... you can see previous seasons online.

yep does seem to be about once a month, usually with the new patches. i kinda think they do it just to hide the embarassment of blantant hackers on their leaderboards in the past.

it's just a fresh start for everyone. A lot of the matchmaking is based of how many games you have played, not just your win percentage. So if it was a persistent leaderboard, the guy with the most games and semi high amount of wins will be #1.
