PUBG Screwing up Speedfan

I control my PC's heatlevels and Fan Speeds with Speedfan.
Now with the current new update it completely screws over my program, so that even with PUBG closed, it doesn't properly work anymore. I need to restart my PC for it to run again and if i play PUBG for a bit, it is ♥♥♥♥ed up again.

What the hell did you include in the new update that it screws over programs like that?
That is a bug that has been reported more than 1 WEEK ago in your support forum and you ignored it. Now it is live and we have no idea what exactly is screwing with it. Maybe it is even harmful to my system?

Fix that asap. For your game i need to control my heat levels, because this game is not even closely running optimised at all.

EDIT: By the looks of it, they won't fix anything regarding this. I contacted the dev of SpeedFan but i'd surprised to even receive an asnwer.

Controlling fan speeds is healthier for your system. Also the automatic controls might control my fans way later than i would normally do. I can control my heat at around 60 - 70 for my GPU. If i didn't my system wouldn't react until 90. This is still tolerable but over time it will siginifcantly reduce the life of your GPU.

So if you value your system and don't buy a new one every 1 - 2 years, you better take care of it.

You're trying to say you control fans manually but can react to temp changes quicker than my pwm fan control monitoring in bios?

Speed fan is for running fans higher than normal to keep temps lower than normal.

I have cpu at 1ghz oc standard fan settings in bios, 24/7 no issues, yet you have issue.... Wonder why.

Why don't you just not use speed fan.... You don't need software controlling fans, your PC should be fine with normal fan speed settings/pwm. Otherwise look to why you need speed an, clearly some other issue, speed fan is only really helpful for laptop it's not essential for well maintained PC with adequate air flow and regular cooling arrangements.

What happens then?
Chances are there's some interaction with it and anticheat, you will have some issues with non essential third party software running at same time as anticheat, that's to be expected for external anti cheat program.

because im 30 and i do work on my pc in excel, word 8-12 hours a day, if i run fans at higher speeds my brain will pops out after 3 hours

My case is 5 years old now. Still with original fans running at max speed. No issues. They aren’t as loud as people make them. Sure there are loud fans. But you get what you pay for.

And a fan will cost you what like 40$. Vs gpu mobo or cpu failure.

I can care less if my fans fail faster then their lifespan. It’s made to do one thing and make my hardware run cooler.

I ran a 4770k at 4.3 clock speed no issue. I’m running a 7700k at 5.0. No issue.

Don’t overclock if you’re scared of something failing.

I never said i have issues? Also you didn't read my comment at all it seems cause you didn't get a single thing right.

I didn't say anything about FAST control. But i can already turn up my fan speed at 70 degrees while the normal fan control wouldn't react UNTIL it hit 90 degrees. Thats an important difference i was pointing out.

Also If your fans die, your hardware is completely useless until you got new fans. So if you keep them alive you automatically keep the hardware alive.

SpeedFan is running fans higher than normal? What? No! Other way around! If your system reaches the temperatur for your fans to turn on, it will go to 100% in one go! Like from 30% to 100%. Not 60 not 70 nor 80. Always the max. That is not good. I can control the speed as i wish. any percentage, any speed. Not just 30 and 100 for example.

I have no idea what your problem is with these programs. They are designed to help you and do just that. If they didn't have any purpose, noone would use them, but millions do.

And it is not only about me being unable to use that program during PUBG, it is mostly about the audacity Bluehole shows to BLOCK these programs on my system. That is a huge violation in my eyes and it should not be allowed. Even more so because it is not proven to keep Cheaters at bay in blocking that.

That also doesn't make a lot of sense. Just because i control the fan speed, doesn't mean my hardware is dying faster. How do people get this retarded idea.

I'm having the same problem with Speedfan and Pubg. I reinstalled windows. I thought my mainboard is broken. But it only happens when starting Pubg. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Same for me, tower SCREAMS as the fans go nuts... only game ever to do it.... cant get any actualy dev to look at the problem because a bunch of plebs go "get off the potato" ... when actually it is top notch PCs that are affected, and NOT their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ potato

turn off automatic fan control, type 70-100% to your fans and than run the game, and it works fine, cpu temp 50, gpu 65c, .. after you stop playing just restart your computer and enable automatic fan controll while are you not playing the game... works for me

This is the new Anti Cheat.exe from Bluehole. Speedfan is now on the Blacklist. We can hope they change it fast.

everyone hates hackers, i/we dont say not to use anti-cheat, but at least there should be pop-up warning that yours vital program will not run when you starting game.. like "warning: SpeedFan wont work" ..its not that hard to implement.. having fans on idle while at load without knowing is not fun.. it also blocks temperature probe so you have no idea your system is owerheating
