Shroud Cheating With Video & Evidence

Shroud, who everyone seems to love and idolize might not be who everyone thinks he is. He does not look very legitimate or trustworthy and comes off as very suspicious when you look through all of the footage that has been compiled by people on YouTube of him snapping onto enemies behind walls and often friendly firing his own teammates while snapping onto targets who are either driving in cars or behind walls, which is very unnatural. Also, can someone explain to me why that since people started showing these vids since a week ago he all of a sudden started missing way more shots on his current streams than ever before? That's not suspicious at all, must be a coincidence. Also not suspicious how any thread being made about Shroud possibly using aimbot or cheating magically gets locked by a PUBG moderator?


The vast majority of people who have been pointing these things out have been discredited due to people who keep saying the 5 main arguments that defend Shroud;

1) "Oh, well he used to play CS:GO Competitive and has 1000's of hours on FPS'S"

Yeah in CSGO… I'm talking about PUBG though, not CSGO. Just because you're a pro Nascar driver, doesn't mean you're a pro Formula Racer. Same goes for shooters. Is he extremely good at PUBG due to being great at CSGO? Sure. But then why doesn't he enter any tournaments? Why are there so many fishy situations with him? Why are there so many questionable moments? Why does he refuse to stream anything other than full screen? With all these allegations against him about hacking, I'd think joining even one tournament to prove he is that good in PUBG just to shut up all the people accusing him if anything. That is just another mark that raises suspicions. (Since you don't use personal computers, so no chance he could cheat). He does nothing to prove anything. Even one stream of a camera on his keyboard and mouse would prove it. Yet he won't even do that simple gesture of proof... Why? The act of pointing his camera towards his keyboard and mouse could be done in under a minute and he could run it that way for a game or two. It would take under an hour and if he is able to perform at the level he is known for, then it would immediately debunk and discredit 95% of accusations. This is such a easy action to perform that the refusal to do so is highly
suspicious.

There have been many amazing gamers who have been accused of cheating, and they did this one simple thing to prove natural ability. It's only cheaters that I see ignore the accusations. Just yet another of many questionable marks on shroud.

"bro, it's pure skill and luck obviously." does NOTHING look suspicious to you people? CAN YOU GIVE ME 1 EXAMPLE OF SOMETHING THAT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS TO YOU, NOT JUST FROM SHROUD, BUT ANYONE!? I'm guessing I could show you a video of some Chinese hacker clearly using hacks and aimbot with the cheat menu open clear as day and you'll still say, "nah bro, skill and luck, stop hating." BUT BECAUSE IT'S SHROUD, it's IMPOSSIBLE that he would be using aimbot or some other cheating software in all of these suspicious videos, right? Point is, you can't just label him doing this stuff as some type of "pro play" every time.

I UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAS PREVIOUS FPS EXPERIENCE AND CAN BE GOOD AT FPS'S. That being said, HE STILL TOGGLES ON HIS AIMBOT ON AN OFF SOMETIMES TO KEEP VIEWER RETENTION and doesn't get banned for this specific act due to him bringing in publicity for the game. It's called an act, he switches it on and off it different situations and plays it off as the game being weird each time that he realizes he messed up on stream. I can go on all day about this and can keep showing you various other clips that make absolutely no sense with him flicking on to people behind walls and "accidentally" friendly firing people due to a bug in the aimlock, but again you will refuse to believe any of it.

2) "Oh, you're just mad cuz bad, you're just jealous of him because he's better."

And to that I say, I'd be perfectly fine if someone was this good… But there are too many red flags, and questionable situations. Not all forms of criticism are based off of jealousy. You're telling me I can't rationally assess the situation by looking at the tons of clips of him hitting suspicious shots that look identical to how bots operate and come to the conclusion that he could be using a ♥♥♥ sometimes? Then you have to ask yourself, why doesn't he ever join any type of actual competitive tournaments? You'd think it'd be a fresh cool difference now and again. Someone THAT good, able to perfectly snap onto heads in .05 seconds should be DOMINATING in tournaments, yet he seems to be scared to go in.. Just makes you question.. one of many things.

3) "Oh, you must be some conspiracy theorist who thinks that ALL streamers/pro gamers are using hacks/aimlock"

Don't try to use your generalization fallacy on this argument, no one said EVERY streamer and or pro player is hacking. Ninja, Dr. Disrespect, JoshOG, TSM_Viss, etc. are all great examples of people who are insanely good that aren’t hacking and there is nothing to suggest or hint that they do. Shroud is a completely different story though. If all of these other pro gamers, streamers were using aimbot or hacking why aren’t there any videos for them doing questionable sht but there is a ton for Shroud? What it’s just a coincidence?

4) “If Shroud is a cheater, why hasn’t he got banned yet then!?

THE DEVS ARE NOT GOING TO BAN THE GUY BOTH BECAUSE HE GIVES THE GAME FREE PUBLICITY WITH HIS TWITCH VIEWS AND ALSO BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE BOUGHT PUBG DUE TO HIS STREAM. Also, don’t forget that the developers make money with cheaters which repurchase games after ban, buy keys for boxes, farm day in and out to feed the item market and gain money for every item which was gathered by fame hunting and item selling Chinese cheaters. On top of that, he is too big of a name now for them to ban. Can you imagine how many fanboys would stop playing this game if they made it public? Bluehole are completely aware of his antics but if they ban him it will have serious repercussions on the player base and also will be quite a loud statement about what really goes on in this game. That being said, Bluehole is not going to ban one of their biggest cash cows and the person that is bringing light to their game the most. This is clearly evident by the fact that Shroud does get special treatment from Pubg Corp. He was even invited to their HQ and gave his opinions on the game. Some have even reported that some of the changes that happened in the big update last week were because of Shroud. Like lvl 3 helmet being crate only. Apparently he didn’t like or saw to many at the end of the game all having lvl 3 helmets. Bottom line, however, is that it would hurt Bluehole’s business too much to ban the guy, thus they have no reason to do so even if they know that he is blatantly cheating.

5) "If Shroud does hack, I don't care. Not my problem, not you're problem."
REALLY!? So you're telling me if someone at the very top is getting paid donations and gaining followers under false pretenses. That's fine by you right? Someone who, again, is being stated to POSSIBLY be cheating could be getting donation money that he might not deserve and that's ok with you right? Also if he is cheating it's a massive insult to his fans a lot of whom only followed him because of his apparent level of skill. On top of that, say that he were cheating, even if he were to be eventually caught doing something, it would mean nothing. He would not have to give back all the people their donations; he would not have to hand anything back to anyone. Sure he might lose some energy drink sponsorship that supplies him with a coronary, but he would have made a ton of money off of cheating and gotten away with it. That’s ok with you as well?

LASTLY;
It should be a good practice to keep a non-closed minded viewpoint anyway, not just about Shroud, but with other aspects in life. People should judge what they see for themselves based off of scientific backing as well as substantial evidence that outlines something suspicious or not suspicious, and make their own hypothesis on the matter that's not clouded by their favoritism and/or hate towards someone. Then again this isn't very feasible or very possible since most people will have some sort of bias whether they like to admit it or not. And just to be clear, I never thought negatively of Shroud to begin with, I just thought that what I saw in the videos as well as other instances didn't make much sense to me, which is why I brought it up. In order for people to discuss their reasons for why he is or isn't cheating

Whether he's cheating or not is up for debate, however from all of the proof shown recently it is very likely that he does. All I know is if you're smart you can hide the fact you're cheating extremely well. You can toggle those hacks on and off. His excuse of how his "snap" isn't cheating could be completely legit. Or it could be that he simply presses a button to toggle the snap then turns it off, then readjusts the tiny bit at the end, which would completely cover up the fact he used a cheat. There are MANY videos of shrouds replays slowed down that shows extremely sketchy situations, like him "snapping" to an enemy that goes behind a wall and he starts shooting into a completely different building.. Someone who is supposedly THIS good, simply wouldn't do stupid ♥♥♥♥ like that unless he's relying on some third-party program. But who am I to say. There's a lot of sketchy ♥♥♥♥, but he hides it well.

It's in the realm of possibilities that Shroud does indeed cheat, or use aimbot, or at the very least use some type of macro to hit all these shots that seem unrealistic to hit in the first place. You guys need to look at things with an open perspective. If him hitting all these shots is too good to be true, then I would question whether all of it is legit or not too. Don't just blindly follow someone without questioning anything, that's delusional.

I know how an aimlock works, and it seems to me that he's not using an aimlock from my 2k hours of CS:GO cheating experience.

Shroud is by far one of the only streamers I've seen that snap like that, Even top players, ninja, DrDisrespect (just to name a few) do not react like that. EVen Doc was like...wtf? There's definatly something going on. That much is certain. But NO WAY someoen can snap onto targets like that. And mostly aiming at the head. Yes you can be good, but no way that good.

Neither ninja or the doc have been in the pro scene though, right? The doc is average at best but somewhat entertaining to watch.
