Why can't I find an FPP match

So every time I open PUBG I don't want to play the crap third person system because winning that on EU servers is impossible thanks to cheaters.
I click on FPP and it ends up taking over 10 minutes to find a match and even then only about 40 people are in the match. I know for a fact that PUBG is dying but I'm wondering if this is maybe because of my ping to EU servers (170-190)?

Simple: People want easier things. It is much easier to spot an enemy and time when to attack him on TPP while on FPP, it becomes harder, so that is why more people choose TPP rather than FPP

That's all fine and well, but why do other players find matches instantly and consistently when I have to wait 10 mins or more to find a match?

Okay so I ended up winning that Duo FPP game as a solo, but still nothing to be proud of considering there was less than 50 players at the beginning of the game, I'm conflicted as to what's causing this issue but I'm over it. Just going to continue playing Fortnite until this issue is solved cos PUBG TPP is not worthwhile

The only reason that the playerbase is decreasing is due to the "working" anti-cheat. More than 1.2M Chinese Cheaters got banned. Before that banwave, which is still happening in background, there was an all-time peak of more then 3.2M players in PUBG.

Even if 500k PUBG players have switched to Fortcrap since this January, PUBG is in no way dying!!

To answer your question:
THE Experimental Server is now available for everyone. No need to ask for an invitation and so to grab a Key for this Experimental Server anymore.

The E-Server has the new Map and many players are playing it.

There will always be campers in every multiplayer shooter game mode. It's a given, there are campers in PUBG as much as in Fortnite, and to be perfectly honest the most campers come out of the FPP mode when it comes to PUBG cos they're scared to move out of their little hidey-hole

The skill is being better than the campers, letting the campers see you but outplaying them when they have the advantage

theere's little room for outplaying when they pre-aim your head just bc they saw you with the camera

You're searching for matches at 7:30 in the morning on a normal week/work day. That's why you're struggling. We play every morning from around 10am and don't struggle finding fpp games on EU. Also based in SA. The only time it's a struggle is in the very early hours of the morning.

You're searching for matches at 7:30 in the morning on a normal week/work day. That's why you're struggling. We play every morning from around 10am and don't struggle finding fpp games on EU. Also based in SA. The only time it's a struggle is in the very early hours of the morning.

Hmm, true. Thing is I've been having the same error on weekends at midday like idk when there's more of a peak time to play
