How do I open the .demo file?

In the pubg replays, I'm in the folders. How do I get the .demo file to open? Or what do I do to view the replays through the folders without opening pubg.

It isn't a video file. It's a recording of all input, locational data and stuff. It would only make sense to PUBG's engine, you can't play it like a video.

Ah, I figured. Is there no way to play it through the game files then? If not, that really sucks (although now that I think about it, it's not that surprising).
