So PUBG sounds are bad or not?
Just give my friend to play several matches. He's complaining that he cant define where sound coming from - shooting, steps or car engine..So does anyone got this issue? Playing with headphones not speakers 5.1 etc..

sound IS bad. There should be a bit greater sound dispertion from left to right. Sometimes I find myself trying to isolate a sound to either the left or right speaker so I can tell where it comes from.

Does devs know about it? Players asked to fix it or mb devs said something about sound system?

Shots not only problem. Also footsteps/cars.

Agreed the sounds are bad at the best of times and its reall hard to gudge from which direction shooting is coming from when your the target

Sounds are great in this game. Use a headset , problem solved.

I don't really have any problems with sound direction, and I'm using some sennheiser IE headphones without surround sound... PUBG is not using 7.0 surround (nor 7.1) so some people might not hear stuff that well... Works great for me and my friends though, even with speakers

Make sure you have it on stereo, I find it works a ton better than 5.1

You can hear if its left or right, but its still gharbage cuz there is 180 degrees and you dont know exactly where. And I use a headset.

use a good pair of headphones and you can pin point locate steps shots and cars.

Sounds like you don't have it on stereo, I can hear distance better

I use a crappy $60 Logitech headset and I've never had an issue hearing exactly where sounds are coming from. The only exception is when a shot comes very close, the crack sound of the shot passing sometimes covers up the sound of the actual shot
