Worthless Vests and Helmet

Is it me or are the vests and helmets worthless in PUBG? They don't seem to help at all anymore.

Yes they help.. but in the last update the buffed the SR, so against that weapon GG

I prefer not taking damage like i'm shrugging bullets off.
Vests and helmets should only be viable at very long distances or for lower calibre weapons.

If i wanted to empty 2 entire clips into someone before they die i'd go play Apex legends.

Good games are designed not with "perfect" reality in mind but with a measure and balance of available weapons and defense to them. This allows the main differentiator to be the players skills.

They help a lot more than you realise. Taking two shots without a vest versus 4 or more with a vest is certainly ideal.

Also, theres an extra damage cheat, maybe your opponent was using it.
