RTX 2070
Hello guys! I just bought my RTX 2070 MSI Armor 8GB. I just wanted to ask help how to get maximum FPS for my games, mainly PUBG. Please take time, mejo mahaba post...

-RTX 2070 MSI Armor 8GB
-16gb RAM 3000mhz T-Force
-Ryzen 5 2400g (I have this because when I first built my pc last January 2019 I didnt have GPU right away.)
-144hz 1ms NVISION GT27C14 for my main monitor
-60hz Samsung SyncMaster EX1020 for my dual monitor

For PUBG Settings

Full Screen mode
1920x1080
In game FPS : Unlimited
Render Scale : 100-110
Anti Aliasing - low
Post Processing - low
Textures - High/Ultra
Sharpen - On
Vsync - Off

the rest are on very low.

Sanhok -
Currently geting 90-110 fps while moving or in battle

130-144 when idle in one spot.

But for Vikendi/Erangel/Miramar I get much lower fps on the same settings

Idle/camping - 100-115 fps
moving/in battle - 70-90 fps

During in-game I also checked task manager

CPU % = 50-60%
GPU % = 50-70%

I also noticed during lobby gpu is good at 90-95% usage but once the game starts it drops to 40-50%

1.Is this normal for PUBG Steam?
2.I will of course change my processor, since I believe I am partially bottlenecked. I'm kinda waiting for Ryzen 3000 or I might just settle with Ryzen 7 2700x
3.Is there an ideal setting for Nvidia Control Panel as well?

For Apex Legends - Max settings steady 135-144 fps
For Fortnite - Max settings settings steady 135-144 fps

With afterburner installed, On the GUI it will say Power limit 100 change that too 120, And GPU temp limit to 92c. That will give your card a nice little overclock without changing voltages etc.
Also go into the Nvdia control panel, Made sure it's Power management is on high performance if it already isn't.

for Afterburner the max i can tick is only on 114 for power limit and 88% on temp limit.

NVIDIA Control panel, yep power mgt is already in high performance mode.

What could be the reason why i'm getting lower fps? Is it because of my Ryzen 5 2400g?

It is 100% an extrem low end cpu for a good midrange gpu. You could increase your gpu load with higher render res and higher aa

Yeah, I'm still waiting for Ryzen 3000 to come out. But by doing that, I mean your suggestion, will that increase fps?

Nothing because you cant overclock your cpu and your cpu is your bottleneck

you should definitely wait for ryzen 3000 since it's only about 2 months away.

Yea, besides, im not experiencing stutters or lags, everything is pretty smooth im just really being obsessive compulsive with the fps digits for pubg.. lol but as for performance im not encountering any problems..

I guess that's just enough time for me to save... I wonder how much will the ryzen 7 be >.<

Guess ill skip the 2070. I Have 2700x 27 inch 144hz Gsync and the Gtx 1070 and get 120 fps in 2k.. View dis=Ultra. Text=Ultra.Effects=Ultra the rest is medium

a 2070 makes no sense in most cases because you can get a 1080ti for some price which is faster. no one will use use raytracing ♥♥♥♥ on these rtx cards. would be nice if they build 1170/1180 cards.

with same settings as you a 1080ti has 170fps avg on 1440p (with a little faster cpu)
