Report a translation problem
The maps themselves don't have nearly enough light sources to keep 1/10 of each map from pitch darkness. Portable light sources are just dead giveaways of player's locations and there wouldn't/shouldn't be enough night vision goggles for everyone so it's a huge imbalance if you don't even get the chance to actually SEE who's gunning for you. If anyone has played DayZ/Arma they'd know that playing in darkness is not really practical.
I personally don't think it'd make a fine addition. I'd rather the devs polish the existing mechanics instead of adding new impractical ones.
