I got banned for using fps boost pack
hey

last night i updated pubg and tried to play after months. i got literally 10 fps in map intro while landing. so i tried so performance tweaks so i can get more fps. didnt work. i searched a little bit and found panjno fps boost pack and his channel on youtube. changed some appdata,ingame settings and replaced some files with those settings his refering to ppl. i went to game again and played with like 30 and alot of lag. i got mad and uninstalled the game completely. now in the morning when i opened steam boom, game ban on my accound and nobody is telling me what happend. im not a pubg player, no wins at all, all of my hours are for working with settings and the sh*t game they developed,
maybe you thing im an idiot but put your self in my situation and check this video on youtube

You cannot change game files in MP games. You will get banned by all of them.

If your machine is unable to play the game, you need a new machine, or stick to older games that were built to run on that era machine. You cant edit game files and expect to not be banned in a MP game. This isnt single player.

And if you had read the code of conduct for PUBG, it clearly states that any tampering with game files will result in a ban. Basically you cant change anything, or use any graphics alternatives. Because they can be used to give an advantage. Especially stuff that removes effects or turns them off, changes textures, etc. All of that gives people an advantage. If everyone else has fog, and you dont, you have an advantage, dont you.
i totally understand what you sayin all the rules are clear. the type of settings i changed wasnt like that, effects or texture didnt changed. only and only in game regular settings like resolution. this is not an advantage over other players obviously lower resolution cause more blurriness. you can do these changes in any game like changing aspect ratio or resolution. changing shader map version is ok in steam you can use like -sm4 in launch options its something simple. textures, physics, meshes, particles, nothing edited and theres no advantage in those settings only more performance for ur potato pc. not all of us can have beasts. well,
it was my bad ok ? but why this only happened to me ? i check on comments and im the only one got banned for that

Have you written a comment on that youtube page saying it got you banned?
How do you know others havent been banned and never wrote anything about it? Have you read through all the comments, or just the top few? Just because you didnt see any comments about bans, doesnt mean its safe. You are assuming you are the only one, but its highly likely you are not. They have been banning people for changing game files and editing stuff for a long time, this is not new. There are thousands of people who were banned for similar reasons. Anyone who has used this guide has most likely been banned aswell.

Consider this a hard lesson. Never assume some guide on youtube is safe to use. Especially when its about a multiplayer game. Always check the rules first, and if necessary, ask the devs.

Lots of ppl used this and those i changed were just custom settings its not anything to worry about it. players flying with cars in game and i get banned ??

What do you mean buy it again ? i didnt change any thing related to game physics or engine. just simple optimizations. got search it. no one got banned for this. why me ?

Sure other people got also banned for it. Changing the game files is a bad idea and can always cause in a bann..

The term idiot does suit you if you can't read all the posts which state, you changed the files, therefore you're game runs differently to everyone else.

You are therefore trying to get an advantage over others in the same position as you.

Cheating is trying to get an advantage over others, not creating a level playing field.

i didnt cheat like others do. this youtuber knows what his doing. maybe you think im an idiot but i wanted make the game playable. go ahead and look at my stats in it. thats not fair. yes i screwed but this is not cheating and i dont deserve a permanent ban for this
