Game banned for no reason

Never once would I thought that I would been in a helpless situation and seeking help and support from steam forums/discussions.

It was on 14th June 2019 when I switched ON my PC to have some PUBG, just a casual one, war mode lobby. While waiting for the slots to fill up, I got a notification from PUBG, I got steam banned.

Puzzled as to wondering what had just happened I restarted my PC straight away thought that this is probably another PUBG bug by Bluehole. Well, things got me heated up when I got a notification from steam itself stating I was in-game banned by PUBG.

OKAY. Clarification, I never ever cheated on PUBG or did I download/install any sort of hacks/cheats that enable me to have an advantage in PUBG. I searched thru the discussion and it seems that my only option is to follow the steps and appeal at PUBG support website by filing a ticket on the ban.

Well, the customer support just told me that my game was banned on 5th April 2019. Question, why I am able to login PUBG, enter war mode lobby, then notified I was banned although the CS mentioned that my account was banned on 5th April 2019?

After a month of emails back and forth with the CS, they just told me that they detected there is an infraction in game and my account was not hacked. Thus, the responsibility lies on me and myself only. They will stand on their ground and would not unban me for any reason.

Readers might think that - " hey bud, stop wasting your time as PUBG says you hacked means YOU HACKED/CHEATED, haha cheater busted! ." This is what I read thru that most of the players voicing out in the discussions seeking for help and its what they got in reply from the other unhelpful players.

I seriously think that PUBG really disappointed me for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t false ban. Imagine that if the player is really innocent in this situation and got banned for no reason at all. This feels like a scam as players paid for the game, enjoy it and suddenly got punished by an offense that they did not violate. Also, it is really ridiculous that the devs punished the players without even letting them know what they violated.

This is totally unfair to those innocent players as of me right now, I feel helpless but to see my game being banned by the devs for no reason and there is no one that I can seek help to. Coz I personally feel that customer support is just doing their job, replying emails with SOP and the APPEAL function is really not helpful at all. Devs are not looking deeper into this kind of matter and it just feels like they just tell players to "fk off" we have no time into attending these matters.

I really hope that this post can reach the devs, I feel lost and really disappointed.

You can be banned for having any cheat, for any game, on your PC. Not just cheats for PUBG.
Just having one installed somewhere is enough.

There are also several programs that will get you banned simply because its installed. Autohotkey for instance. Programs like this can be used for macros and other "assists".

Editing game files for any reason, performance, graphics enhancement, etc. = ban.
Or using programs like reshade, etc.

He already submitted a few tickets and was told he can't get unbanned because they have proof he cheated or he has no proof his account was hacked.

I got unbanned because I was able to get in touch with a member of Bluehole and I gave him proof that my account was hacked and I showed them I safeguarded my Steam account. I never accept friends request from strangers anymore because I know most of them use Phishing Scams to steal Steam accounts so they can cheat in PUBG because they suck at the game and got their accounts banned so they steal others to do the same thing.

^ Moral of the story is be careful who you accept as a friend on Steam. They may just be a hacker looking to take your account away from you.

Thanks for the info, but here I can say that I dont think that my account has been hacked. Also, I do not know what kind of offence I violated to be punished by a permanent ban and this really frustrates me. Im gonna say this one last time, I DID NOT CHEAT/HACK/MACRO and I was just playing normal PUBG as usual la.

I just got really tired of defending myself as I could not find anyone who can really help me in this matter from bluehole.

All I can say is I have been trying to cooperate with bluehole and if they want any info from my side just request from me. Instead, they act like absolute and would not further discuss this matter with players.

I understand perhaps they have too many appeal cases to attend to and might ignore most of the innocent cases. But this is really too much, too unfair to be perma banned with something that I did not committed.

Dude, you did something in order to get the ban, your ignorance to what it was is no defence (as per the TOU). You need to try and find out what it was. The one thing I can say is that when issuing bans they really do need to give some kind of info on what the ban was for etc. To give those who get the bans some idea of what happened. You need to read through this https://www.pubg.com/rules-of-conduct/ and see if it helps you in anyway to figure out what the ban was for. I don't for a second believe there are as many false bans (or any at all) as alot of banned players make out there are, probably more ignorant people (which as I stated earlier from the TOU is no defence) and liars.

Also, thank you for the people giving me suggestions, I tried and unfortunately failed.

Well, you don't get banned for absolutely no reason.

Even if you installed some malicious software or dodgy ones, especially files that interfere with esp game files you are only going to be inviting trouble.

So even if you are innocent, you are still guilty (in a way).

Anti cheat systems is meant to detect any intrusions that alter or interfere with game files in anyway.

You may not be a "dirty" cheater, but you do have something in that pc of yours that set off alarm bells in their anticheat. It wouldn't be any antivirus or antispyware programs otherwise a lot more folks would be in the same predicament. Also I heard false bans are usually overturned within a couple of days. Your ban is almost a month now.

They don't send out bans immediately when you hack. They send them out in waves to catch as many people as they can. So if you hacked on a certain day you might not get it till a month later. I mean you got a VAC ban it really gets no worse than that. I mean I've never heard of a false ban the entire 10+ years.
