I turned off my acceleration/pointer precision and not sure if it made that much difference either, but apparently turning it off means the mouse travels at the speed you move it across your mat rather than being artificially enhanced ...something like that probably wrong.. one think I found was difficulty in dragging and dropping items into my inventory ... so just trying to r click now.
Yes, the inventory is effected, it uses the same mouse movement, as windows, but the aiming is not effected as I tested out. But I guess you are not understanding the meaning of raw input. It doesn't mean to rely on mouse software, it's meaning the windows settings not effecting the game, so only the settings of your mouse software and the game settings matter.
And the game sensitivity settings couldn't cause mouse accel, and the windows pointer precision stuff has no effect on the game, as I tried it out myself, but I'm asking my question mostly to understand how others have some problems with this, or maybe in the early beta times there was a problem with this, because I've started to play in this year January and haven't experienced anything like this.
