If you dont use an network (NAS) to play PUBG, ignore it.
The solution is to add a new task via command(admin):
schtasks /create /tn "my_mount" /tr "net use V: \\hostname\directory password /user:domain\username /persistent:yes" /sc onstart /RU SYSTEM
*Thanks to https://superuser.com/questions/753400/map-network-drive-for-the-system-user-in-windows*
Obviously you have to replace V:, hostname\directory, password and domain\username with your personal data.
The Mount Pount (V: for example) you choose must be identical to the one u use on your user login,
Maybe you have to add quotation marks afterwards in the task scheduler if youre hostname/directory/domain/username contains a space.
A reboot can be required but it should be enough to manually start the task.
Short explanation on the solution:
BattleEye itself is not the problem.
The "problem" is windows's implementation of smb (nas) clients.
When you add a network folder it is only added for your user.
But BattleEye is running with the system user, an 'invisible' user which therefore has not access to any shared folders a regular user is connected to.
By letting the system user run the 'net use' command on startup to attach your nas storage, the system user also gains access to the shared folder and therefore BattlEye can access your Game files and check them.
Glad to found a good working solution which should work for every BattlEye implementation:)
*Tested on Windows 10 and Insurgency running from Ubuntu/ext4 nas
Ok thanks.
Try to reinstall PUBG on the clean way.
Uninstall/reinstall PUBG
Sometimes issues occur where files are corrupted, permissions aren’t set correctly, or certain aspects of the game aren’t installed correctly. To fix this we need to completely uninstall PUBG and associated files.
1 Uninstall PUBG
Go to your Steam library
Right Click on PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS and select Uninstall
A windows will pop up asking for confirmation, click on Delete
2 Remove associated files
Press Windows Key+R
Type in %localappdata% and then press Enter or OK
Delete the folder TslGame
Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete the file BEService_pubg.exe
Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the folder PUBG
In Steam go to Settings>Downloads and click on CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE
Restart Steam
3 Reinstall PUBG
Advanced thread defence is very strong in bitdefender. I also have it.
Maybe it doesnt have battleeye atm.
With everything they've done they are losing players. Check out the Steam Charts, only 85k on right now. I give it mid of next year if they don't save their game before its down to 20k or less.
Like Tsl24.exe and try it again.
Ok thats bad......
You should contanct the support.
https://www.pubg.com/support/
And tell them what you had done so far.
Good luck
