VAC-Banned for using an audio-controlling Akh script?

Is it possible to get banned for using an AutoHotKey script that only controls audio? Got VAC-banned and i legitimatly have no clue why...Never used any other external program other than reshade and AutoHotKey(and never used non-audio scripts).
I have 300+ hours in pubg, 1900+ hours in csgo and got ~100 bucks worth of pubg items in my inventory, so there would be absolutly no reason for me to use cheats.

Seems to be happening to a lot of people today. If you truely didn't cheat I'm sure battleeye will reverse bans for a ton of people, might take some time tho, it has happened in the past.

@Dragosani Used two, one was just a meda key replacement since my keyboard has none(play/pase,next song,last song) and the other one turned down the volume of the current program by a certain percentage(like earplugs in the origanal Arma 3 mod) nad paused the music. Saw it on reddit, thought that is was pretty useful, a quick google search stated that you won't get banned for akh, and installed it.

I believe AHK gets detected as a cheat, since it can be used for cheats.

@guerrand whats that edge at the game? not to hurt my ears when i drove the buggy in the old patch? Also, i set it up before there was the ctrl+m mute thing and almost only use it in the plane/parachute phase. littarally no advantage in gameplay, there was even a thing that did exactly the same in the original Arma 3 BR mod called "earplugs"

Turning vol to levels that kill your ears means getting an atvantage against others right?
You can hear them early while the can not hear you since they use normal vol.
You get what I say?
Ok than you know why you got banned rightfully.
btw you just needed to get the silence the game hot key on a single key and you could do your litle sound cheat without having to use thirdparty software that is detectable by battleeye/VAC.

How is having loud audio a cheat? I think you're trippin' mate. And he was talking about muting loud audio in the game, not having loud eardrum destroying audio to hear footsteps easier, which again: ISN'T A CHEAT... it's just stupid. I don't care if idiots want to ruin their hearing for the rest of their lives.

im not talking about sound levels that kill your ears, im just saying that the old volume in the plane/the buggy was way out of relativity to the rest of the game sounds. The only problem was that i couldn't properly have a conversation over teamspeak when beeing in the plane(especially when there wasn't the mute option ingame yet, since i set this script up shortly after going into early access). So i ether had turn my volume so low that the game is pretty unenjoyable in the normal phase or just dont hear anything while in the plane/the buggy. Another player could have just made teamspeak louder and would have the same volume as mone, just didnt want to mess with my ts3 volume since i liked it where it was.

Also, since i have 7.1 surround hooked up to a sound card, i''m also cheating because i can tell where shots are coming from easier.
