Playing with phone USB tethering
Hello everyone, I have a weird issue. I usually play PUBG with an ethernet cable which causes no trouble. But sometimes I have to play through my phone USB tethering and thats where it hits me. I cant play. The issue is really weird. I get in the game just fine. And after i load into the island where everyone just free runs, i cant do anything. By that I mean that I can't move or jump or even rotate my camera. My speed is 36 Mbps download 10 Mbps upload and ping is around 20. Can someone pls help. Sorry for my English:(

Since you're basically using a hot-spot, it might have something to do with your cellular carrier.

I'd highly try to avoid doing that if you can. It's never stable.

The only reason im wondering is becasue all the other games seem to work jsut fine. Its only pubg that does this. But i guess you dont have any solutions but play via ethernet.

I drive an 18 wheeler for a living. I can only play pubg on the road. I only use 4G LTE USB tethering. If it's anything less than 4G LTE, I experience those issues too. You may need to see if you are having network issues with you're phone.

Also, replays, deathcams, and inviting to "watch" on steam friends list will all cause these issues too. They use more bandwidth on you're network.

I rechecked and there is no issue with the phone internet connection. This issue seem to only acure in pubg and no other games. I tryed turning off the deathcam and replay but it didnt seem to help. Could there be any other solutions for this problem?
Again im not using 4G LTE but rather my home WIFI which gets me to a good speed.
