PUBG stuck at "Initializing"?

So I have a 182 hours of playing PUBG on my profile and on my PC, but now I can't play it anymore since it's stuck on the screen that says "Initializing" a second before entering lobby.

I've tried reinstalled graphics drivers, resetting my PC, running a malware scan, setting my DNS to Google's, reinstalling the game, logging out of my Steam account and disabling firewall but nothing helped me.

I think that the issue was possibly caused by me logging out of Steam yesterday, but that still doesn't make sense to me.

I have Windows 10, an i5 6600K running at 4.5 GHz, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a GTX 1070 with the latest Nvidia drivers.

I got the same error and spent hours trying to fix it. I finally found "my" solution. It was updating my KILLER SHIELD Software to the newest version. When I "killed" the KILLER SHIELD tasks at the task manager, everything worked fine.

Did you find a permanent fix? I tried reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 and 2017 which gave me a temporary fix but now that doesn't work for me anymore

It's been almost 5 years since I've posted the question lol, but what was causing the problem for me was the ISP and I had to open some ports and then I didn't get the issue anymore.

Чел не поленился спустя 5 лет сюда написать и я не поленюсь, действительно открыл 8080 порт у себя на роутере и все сразу завелось, остальные советы по типу жать backspace проверить целостность и прочая лабуда - неработали, thx!

Чел не поленился спустя 5 лет сюда написать и я не поленюсь, действительно открыл 8080 порт у себя на роутере и все сразу завелось, остальные советы по типу жать backspace проверить целостность и прочая лабуда - неработали, thx!

How did not work if you are in the Lobby playing? Bringing up a thread from 2017 just to make the cheater related ones disappear from the main pages?

Had this issue today and was troubleshooting for 2 hours. Saw this and thought “sure, someone is trolling, can’t be that easy”, but holy crap, it worked! Backspace xD Thanks!!!

if backspace is not working just delete the saved folder C:\Users\{UserID}\AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved this worked for me
