Grass rendering distance
Yo, the new killcam feature revealed that the grass rendering distance is way too short. i lay in the grass and mind my own business, and the 8x Kar guys apparently see me clearly as a day. So the rendering distance for grass needs to be way bigger, OR only show muzzle flashes from people laying in the grass, the same way as delta force did back in the day

turn your grass down to lowest, shadows lowest..everything else as high as you can. don't use grass for cover unless you have no choice. they did that to adjust for lower end pc's that can't render huge amounts of grass.

Shouldn't be too difficult to hide players laying down in grass, problem is they wont adress it.

Firsly you're a coward.
Secondly it's been known since it was released on steam that the foilage doesn't render very far hence why using bushes and grass is a stupid idea to begin with.

Only time you can use grass to cover youself is the top 10 circles.

Grass far away doesnt need to be high quality, just potato mode to provide cover.

Grass renders to 300m for everyone, foliage just increases mesh quality and some tree distance.

I say have shadows on medium, then you get enemy's shadows that can give their position away, keep post processing very low as that's one of the biggest FPS drains ambient occlusion and all, also effects as that is the amount of particles per effect put that very low on lower end rigs.

Same problem. And it started with the release. Early in the grass was played normally.

Further study of the killcam feature leads me to believe that alot of people dont have any grass at all.. Why play?

Everyone has grass, its rendered at about 200m in a circle around your player, you should never go prone in a field unless its the last circle.

Killcam doesnt show the grass correctly and it doesnt show how others actually see the game it only give you a prospective.

totally poor graphics, I can run everything ultra and my fps NEVER go down below 58, even if 20 people having fun in a small area + red zone is above all, but sometimes I see people (with 8xscope), that walk in the air if you spot them in the distance, cause some rocks/hills aren't even render properly.... either they adress that bs, otherwise we can all play on ultra-low, so everyone has the same dis-/advantage...

And btw, people with poor graphic can spot you through walls in some buildings (Seen vids, where 2 or 3 building-types had renderproblems, if someone run into such a house, the guy outside could look into some rooms, so if you hide between 2 windows behind a wall, you don't have to wonder, if you die.
