get banned by using macro?

have some question here, If I use macro from mouse's software (LGS) shall I get ban?
, my brother said his account have been ban for something and recieved email from steam that tell him using programable mouse with 0.0500 MS ?

Is it really okay to use? or ......

You won’t get banned from using Marcos, I’ve been using macros all my life, and beside, a ‘gaming’ mouse that cost you $100+ isn’t allowed in the game? Wtf is wrong with the developers?

I’m just here to ask why is the worlds’ most popular and handy software ‘macro’ is banned in ‘PlayersUnknownBattleGround”, like wise, keyboard, mouse and headset developers has put macro keys into almost every gaming item that is available(eg. Logitech gaming softwares, Steel series, Razor.) this are three most popular gaming software on the market, I believe that you has a developer should understand, for us gamers Marco is a big thing in the gaming world, besides, why does macro gives advantage? Is it just because all your keys that your left/right can’t reach so you have to move your arm? That’s what the macros are for. Macros are just simple keys to help you reach the team chat buttons or rather some of us prefer to be to open the map or even get into our inventory, does it really that big of a deal? I’m sure more than half of the gamer population uses macro just to help with a button thanks across the keyboard.

most games allow macros and some even state they cant and have no way to detect them so they cant do anything about them.

Detecting input is literally .exe 101. If you couldnt detect input, controls wouldnt work. How is this a hard concept for people? Using a macro to fire faster than you can click is 100% cheating, dont be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, and l2p properly.
