Rules of conduct says: Don't use macros.
Rest:
As the Rules of Conduct's 9th. Point states:
"Do not cheat: do not use third party programs, macros, client-side hacks, edited game files or anything else that may give you an unfair advantage in the game. This includes promoting or posting links to websites that provide or promote cheats or hacks."
In my understanding it means that you can use macros until it doesn't gives you an unfair advantage. Like shooting with an M16 with "UZI speed".. Tbh. I don't know what else you can use your macros in the game. Maybe to set a perfect timing between the use of bandages, or something like this. I think, that wouldn't be a big advantage... Whatever...
Anyways, it can be the most safe way if you would not use your macro software with PUBG, even if it comes with your mouse in default.
Regarding to your brother. He got a temporary, or a permanent ban?
Maybe he can try to appeal the ban on the PUBG forum's right section. Try to give additional informations about exactly what kind of macros he used, why do he used it, then acknowledge his mistake and apologize. I don't think a single use of macro would deserve a permanent ban..
Thx for reading. Sorry for my bad english. I have difficulties with the grammar, but maybe you can understand and learn something from it.

loser
That's impossible in pubg.
I've tested tapping and a macro with the smallest delay possible and there was barely any difference. You will never shoot an M16 as fast as uzi or as any of the other fully automatic weapons. ALl it does is give you a consistent tap fire and anyone who's good with their left click can shoot pretty much as fast as you can with a left click turbo.
Personally I don'y think that macros that help you have a "auto" m16 or a "recoil-less" fire with any automatic weapon are a problem. I don't use macros but I don't mind if others do.
Like "I've taken the time to research which macros make people wish all these games went to controller only. I would NEVER use them though".
uh huh, I have beachfront property in idaho for sale!
If you use a macro, which once you're in the top .4 and higher in any bracket you will see almost everybody does. It's a crutch. You can't play. You need software assisted firing and aiming. If you want to do that, that's fine. Don't get bent out of shape when people tell you that you can't hang though, because you can't. Your macro can. That's pretty funny, and a little sad.
No feel free to use it :D
Sure! The recoil is purely just a cosmetic stuff in the game.. Feel free to eliminate it if you don't like it.
For real.. according to the rules of conduct, it is bannable.
