And yeah, "Early Access" is just an stupid excuse.
They sold 10,000,000+ copies and at least 1,000,000 keys. Simple math that's a lot of money.
But, still it feels awful.
When the game starts dying hopefully they'll wake up
Well, its basic principle in game developement.
add content first, clear MAJOR bugs (Optimization is minor bug, and changes along EVERY content update) new content can cause performance bugs which would then revert the earlier optimization patch useless and would just cause more of this:
1. lets optimize the game patch 1.5. 2. now, we added content patch. 3. sorry, new content caused optimization bugs, takes weeks to go trough all of them. 4 another optimization patch 5. content.
Now, its 1 content, 2 content, 3 content, 4 minor bugfixes and some MINISCULE optimization.
They don't give a damn apparently. Adding fog or some other crap is more important than optimization for them.
I want to see who can run this game on minimum system requirements.
What is weird is that the performance of this game, even for EA, is just mind bogglingly bad. It's almost like they're using arena/closed level solutions instead of open world solutions.
i get constant over 100 fps with a mid tier rig
