PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS

Statistiche:
I HATE unreal engine 4!!
ANY GAME USING UNREAL ENGINE 4 JUST FEELS HEAVY TO ME! I absolutely hate this game engine for a twitch shooter.

It's really hard to describe but i can just FEEL the heaviness of unrealengine4

Trying to flick-turn around or quick-switching to pistol or trying to do something snappy YUCK!!!

I have a great pc and know all the input latency tricks (Vsync off, max frames ahead 1, disabling windows mouse acceleration etc) fresh win10 install, cpu oc to 4.0ghz constant, installed on ssd, all settings very low etc.

And im not blaming pubg devs.

All of my open world ue4 engine games i have the same issue with. Ark, conan, light and dark. And i get well over 80-100fps in all of these games as well. I can just tell its using UE4 based on how non-light and snappy the mouse movement feels.

I wish pubg had the same lightweight/raw/snappy responsiveness of other pc game engines.

I dont expect pubg to ever be as snappy as a game like csgo because its an open world game..but look at black desert online for example, that is an actual mmorpg with 100x more people in each server as well as 10000x more detailed graphics/objects/draw distance and somehow has the most lightweight/raw/responsive input i have ever experienced.

No matter how high my framerate is, no matter how many optimizations developers make, no matter what kind of graphics or shader model a ue4 game uses it seems like the core of unreal engine4 just sucks bigtime

Now please tell me why i am an idiot

yep sucks. comparing to GTA V/Online and any AAA Open Sandbox World games, PUBG is not well optimized.

Even if they could masterfully optimize it. I think UE4 at its very core is what needs to be optimized.

With all the money they have made off pubg they should hire some of the ue4 creators to make some deep deep optimizations
Good thing PUBG isn't a twitch shooter, then. Crisis averted.

Twitch gameplay is a type of video gameplay scenario that tests a player's reaction time. Action games such as shooters, sports and fighting games often contain elements of twitch gameplay.

PUBG is a twitch shooter lol. especially in FP mode
ut alpha is smooth as a baby's bottom .. high end pc or low end pc .. look to your pubg overlords on this one .. ue4 is fine
Same here. Unreal Engine 4 games is badly optimized. There is problems with this engine. They are now millinaires.

Lmao comparing pubg to gta v is a joke, GTA was in development for years wiithout a early access release compared to PUBG, plus not to mention way different engines.

Unreal 4 is a new engine when compared to other existing ones, so it will take some time to make it 100%, even if the devs optimize the game an engine update could just ♥♥♥♥ the game over once again...

Look at killing floor 2 and rising storm2. These are both new games where tripwire interactive chose UE3 over UE4 and made it look better than any UE4 games i've seen so far. Whatever changes they made to UE4 i certainly don't see them. If anything UE4 is just UE3 with worse performance

Agreedm PUBG blows as far as performance, and SCUM is even worst.
