Main Menu slow/freezing issues

So yesterday I installed an SSD into my rig and decided PUBG would be the main game I store on it as well. Except now when I boot up the game, it's having major issues on the menu screen.
At first its slow to load the menu features, like start, settings, character etc. Then once that loads it basically just freezes. The character animation freezes, the particle effects in the background freeze but the music still plays and if I click on something and Alt tab it'll pop up when I go back but still freeze after. I managed to launch a match, onlyfor it to freeze (audio still worked, could hear other players and the plane take off) but just showed me frozen on the island unless I Alt tabbed then it would update my location and freeze there.
Anyone have any work arounds?

Try verifying the cache.
What're your settings - including screen scale and if you've got fullscreen/windowed/borderless on.

Try launching another game and see if the problem persists. If it does, your cooling might be down the drain or your SSD has an error and might need to be exchanged with a new one...

I fixed it. I just had to change the screenmode to fullscreen. Now it is normal.
