Today I got PERMANENT Game ban..

Hello,

I have been playing pubg for some time now and I have never cheated and today when I opened up my steam I got alert and opened it and it said permanent gameban?
Is it possible to get gameban for some other reason than cheating?

I am confused.

over 400 hours here in pubg, often using cheat engine and/or trainers for single player games (dem nude mods for DoA ) and never had any problem.

Same happend to me. Only things i did in PUBG:

1. ReShade (Thats okay i guess? At least the Forum said that)

2. Edited some INI-Files (Guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=901888886) in the past, may the Files was still Read-Only

3. Using this Bunny-Hop-Thing to get out of Windows [W, Sprint, Jump, Duck at the same Time)

Such an ooooollllddd Steam Account. Never had any Issues. Never had a Ban or Red-Flag in my Profile before. Never played Unlegit (Hell, why should i risk so many Games in my Steam Lib to get banned o.O I ain't a Millionair)

Well, waiting for a Reply on the Ban Appeal Forum but it still makes me a bit sad and also gets me angry. Hope the Ban Appeal will remove the Red-Flag on the Profile.

Anyway, i am done with this. I dont like such behavior and don't know if they only farm some more Money or did something wrong with their new "Anti-Cheat-System" which can "detect and verify users with unusual gameplay patterns" (What are this unusual patterns? Sometimes you drop at Military, find an AR + Scope and kill 7 People in under 3 Minutes and on the other Hand you sometimes drop at the Edge of the Map and hardly kill 1 Guy until the Round is nearly over. Some Rounds you have good Aim and in others you don't. Sometimes spraying a full Mag with an AR can Headshot someone with the last 2..3 Bullets and sometimes it will miss every single shot)

At least i hope for all others that Bluehole will get better and do a good Job in the future. As i'am not 18 anymore i am used to some things in my life and one of this things is getting an notification/mail or anything else explaining what you may did wrong. You drive to fast? Well, here you will get a Letter, a Photo and some Text about what you did wrong. You did something wrong at Work? The Warning must be a Letter and explain what you did wrong, otherwise you don't need to accept it and if i remember the old days - there was some Sites in the Internet with Screenshots why People get banned (Anyone remember Punkbuster? I think it was Punkbuster which released such Screenshots showing the Aimbot/Wallhack in the Counter-Strike Age) so i think it would be a "normal behavior" if you, Bluehole, write at least a little Mail if you Ban an Account, for Cheating, for closer Investigations or what ever you are doing with it.

We're you using any macros? I know using auto hot key has definitely been getting people banned nowadays. If you watch most streamers nowadays they do not use any editted ini files or macros and struggle sometimes to go through windows like the rest of us.

no Macros for PUBG. In fact i have a Gaming Keyboard + Mouse (Logitech G910 and Razer Deathadder Elite) which both could do some Macros.

But i miss the use of Macros in PUBG - i mean... maybe the Bunnyhop would be a thing you could bind on a single Key but otherwise...? There are no hard Key-Combos you would need to use in PUBG as far as i know. It's not like a Tekken or Mortal Combat where you need to press Keys in a specific order for a good Combo.

And there is also my main Problem with this. I can't explain to myself what i did wrong and what not - maybe it was the ini, maybe ReShade, wish the Dev's would inform you about what you did wrong and not only swing their Ban-Hammer. I think an Rating/Raking of 1300 is an Average or lower Average and they are People with a much higher K/D than mine (1.53 Duo - 2.23 Singleplayer).

This really drive me nuts right now but at least there is a Game called Battlefield which doesnt need ini-tuning for solid FPS.

Hey, they Guide has writen "I DONT RECOMMED TO CHANGE THE .INI FILES ANYMORE!" down in it, now. At the Moment where i was doing it there wasn't any Warnings.

Also, to be honest, if a Company don't want me to edit the ini-file to get solid FPS they should force-check it with Steam or anything like this. File edited? Force-Download a new Copy of it, replacing the old inis, done.

Usually chaning gamefiles does not result in a ban since the game checks if all files are in default state as they should. If you change something they wont let you start or let you play online.
