Should I really buy a drive just for this game?

Literally no difference. If something takes 8 seconds to load on my SSD it takes 9-10 on my RAID 0 array.

GTA V for example loads on my SSD in 24 seconds while my RAID loads in at 29 seconds, a single HDD will load in 48-52 seconds.

pubg takes me about 2-3 seconds to load. windows loads in about 15 seconds. ssd has zero moving parts! go ahead and wear out those 2 hdds! terrible argument!

Get a M2 !
A Hdd and a SSD has a max Read at ca 550 MB ...
A M2 do up to 3.500GB !
I`M using a Sammy 512 GB M2 with 3500/1700 R/W (read/write)
Let me explain:
Your PC is like a Convoy and only so fast like the SLOWEST Part!
What does a High-Tech Pc brings with a mechanical Hdd ...? Nothing!

In my opinion the most powerfulll Upgrade is SSD to M2 and faster RAM !
