Because they died to it, probably one time, and need to cry about it because it makes them feel better.
People like this are literally the reason why so many games are dumbed down and on rails.
Can't deny that, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are everywhere in the online space. I blame it on the participation badge era.
lol Using footage from an organisation who feeds UFC talent now and then is a great example that the average human being can do this effectively said nobody ever.
I've seen many professional fighters take these punches without a knockdown, never mind a knockout (which is very rare). I know this is fighter vs fighter so you can equate that all players are also equal so the OP is correct. It's not really fitting for the game.
I don't have a problem with it though but in defence of the OP, he has a point and the rest of you that disagree with it are not thinking logically. Do I want it to change?. No but as I said, it's in defence of the point made by the OP to why I'm replying.
I'll let you ladies continue with your chat. Enjoy.
You could look at that video and whine that the guy who went down is a real ♥♥♥♥♥ who can't take punches, but there is always two faces to a single coin. I believe the guy who landed the punch actually did it exactly where he wanted it to land and got a weak point in human anatomy. Yes, there is such points where you can knock someone out but if you hit like half an inch to the left or right it do next to nothing.
Visuals are always very misleading. I see no point in the OP which is either logical or intelligent. It is just whining and punching in this game is actually quite gratifying when you actually know what you are doing. And I've never had any problem with it. Except, you know... Laggots around not registering hits. But you work around that. There is little more in this game that I enjoy as much as entering a situation in which it is 1 v 1 with no other weapons than fists which can be brought to the table. I also have a very high percentage of victory of those "bouts". :D
I said I don't have a problem with it but logically, it's not as powerful as in the game. That's the only reason I mentioned anything. If you witnessed over 100 superman punches with less than 1-2 actual knock-outs, how effective is it really?. I'd take technique over power any day, I never said that I didn't but when you have seen fighters throw countless superman punches with hardly ever even being knocked down, never mind knocked out then when the OP says it's a bit overpowered, it actually is in relation to what it would do IRL.
I've died to it once, maybe twice when I first started playing 600 hours ago so I don't care if it stays in the game. I was just backing up the OP's notion that it's not logical at all in any way that it is as effective as it is in-game. I don't want it removed, just saying he has a point but I don't think it should change because one person can't adjust their gameplay. It's fine the way it is (in game obviously).
I wasn't standing... he landed a lucky punch
Edit: People know so much about the Superman punch or the mechanics of this game before whining about them (not talking about you)... I've read quite often people whining to have been one hit killed by it. But the Superman punch DO NOT one hit kill. It does like 90% of your health if you are unarmored. It's not as powerful as people think and hella hard to actually land with the current movement mechanics.
