How do I drop certain amounts of ammo?

Whenever I try and drop ammo when I have a ton for some friends in squads or duos I can't seem to control right click and drop to bring up the amount select ui. How do I fix this?

Hold control and right click on the item you would like to share, a box will pop up allowing you to drop whatever amount you choose, this applies to med kits and bandages or what have you.

I've never right clicked. ctrl and drag to the left and then type in the amount

It's not bad info because that's how it works for me. If it isn't working for you I don't know what to tell you.

I just went and retested my claim, I am right and so is everyone else I could drag to drop while holding control or I could highlight the ammo type hold control and right click the mouse for the exact same effect and my method takes less movement which= better.

My crouch button is control so that might be why.

Yeah that is why. Whatever you switched control to plus right click while being highlighted will work like a charm, I promise. It's even quicker than what the other people said to do.

I'm not sure I changed it to anything unless it automatically did. I don't even see the option in control settings.

I'm not sure what to tell you man, I never changed my key bindings so that is what mine is. You could always set key bindings back to default figure it out and re-bind the way you want them to be. That's all I have man good luck I hope you figure it out.

Its in the options. Dont know whats it called out of my head but its there. Something with items.
