Pubg no sound at all

So a few days ao i was playing pubg and i come of it to restart it and i come back on and i have no sound what so ever ive tried setting and in game setting my audio devices and every thing so if u know my problem and how to fix it can u please tell me.

Ok I've the same problem, it seems PUBG was muted in the volume mixer.....
After launching PUBG Right click on the sound icon, click open volume mixer, then unmute pubg.......

I am having sound issues.. have tried all the discussed methods here. I went through steam and did a file verify.. said 1 file missing and auto redownloaded the missing file. without opening pubg again I performed another verify.. everything was perfect. I opened pubg to find that i still have no sound. Closed out of pubg and went through steam to verify, again says 1 file missing. It seems to me (im not extremely experienced or knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff) that its auto deleting the audio file when i open pubg... I have uninstalled steam and pubg multiple times to try to get this problem resolved and have even had a friend of mine look at it via team viewer.. does anybody know what might be causing this issue? running out of options here anything would help drastically.. thanks in advance.

hmmm im not sure then? maybe try volume mixer again?

ive tried i think my next option is reinstall the game but my wifi sucks that was my last option

I have given up to be honest.. i plan on wiping my pc in the next few months anyhow when I purchase a new AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor and larger SSD, so I have just been dealing with the slow load times from the HDD

Okay I maybe don't have the solution, but for me.... I managed to get back my sound but not solve the problem. I use pro audio interfaces, and my game was previously install with a Focusrite Scarlett usb interface. And I am now using another audio interface caller Focusrite saffire via firewire. And all my software and other games work well, excepted PUBG.... since I still have my Scarlett audio interface I plugged it and I have sound back.... So something somewhere is telling Pubg to send sound to my scarlett only and nowhere else. I don't know your situation but maybe that will help you find a way

I know this thread is quite old but I had this issue recently and found that my solution was to disable all other sound devices in your Windows settings and then set all of your pubg sound settings to their defaults. Hopefully this helps someone seeing as this issue seems to be ongoing
