mouse clicks off screen please help

hi i dont know how else to explain this issue, but ill try best. basically i play on a single screen in fullscreen mode and what happens in if i turn to the right a lot and need to ADS or shoot my mouse cursor appears and makes my game stop as if ive tabbed out but i can still see the game. then i have to quickly move my mouse back on screen and click again to basically tab back in.

i dont have any idea why this is happening. i checked display settings to see if windows for whatever reason thinks i may be running a second monitor and ive checked multiple times on the PUGB settings to check im in fullscreen mode and i am. i have no idea what else to do its pretty much game breaking unless i play the game only turning left.

Did you try rolling back nvidia drivers?

i just checked cs go acts the same way as pubg it has to be an external setting form the game.

If you can't find the reason just uninstall. And then go to steam apps and delete the pubg folder. And then redownload.

i might try this tbh but whenever i have an issue with steam games in the past reinstalling rarely fixes it

No matter what mode you have it in the game should lock your mouse into it when your in game and not in the menu. I can pick windowed , windowed full screen and full screen and it acts the same

yeah i know that but if you read my original post i said how this issue persists in game

That's why I put that. You have one of two choices. It is either a hardware issue or a software glitch. Do you have another game to test like cs go. If it does it then it's a hardware issue. If not it's pubg. Could be a driver conflict. Are your video drivers up to date? Also quick question do you have a mouse pointer icon on your keyboard? I know some have this and it pushes your pointer through any application.

i think its related to the game since out of every other game in my library this is the only one with this issue. drivers are up to date. no i dont have a key like that :/

maybe it cant be fixed its just a shame how its the most popular game on steam and this has started happening

I suggest you roll back your drivers. There was an update yesterday on nvidia. And then see what happens. And then redownload those drivers again.

Hope this helps, if you're running your PC with NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX or above, go to your GEFORCE EXPERIENCE select PUBG and run it as non optimized, this will reset it back.
