Stream-Sniping
So I understand that stream-sniping is bad but what happens if a streamer dies normally in game. Couldn't they just report the person who killed them for stream-sniping even if they didn't do it?

To consistently get into the same game as a streamer to "snipe" them is not an easy task in a game loadout as PUBG as far as I can tell without using some kind of tracking program.

Borderline cyber stalking if not the definition of it.

Ban should be the least....

Some streamers predictably drop into Pochinki and/or Yasnaya Polyana ... in which case that's not really stream sniping either if they don't do anti-patterns.

Yeah but how do you consistently get into the same game as streamers ?

regardless,
supporting stream snipers is supporting stalking and it is not a joke by any means.

Wasn't implying otherwise. The problem with these discussions is the accuracy of how much of anything is actually happening based up what can be substantiated.

Don't stream if you don't want to be found....sounds easy to me.
Don't stream snipe if you don't want a ban. Seems even easier to me.

at the bottom of your screen is an indication code on which server you are on, you just join and leave games until you have same game Id as the streamer gg!!

Ahh
so streamers should know this and prolly do cover it up

so if still being killed by same person ....

shows more reason to consider it stalking.

Those streamers are complete numpties, they stream the game and then cry because they got killed, simple, just don't stream.

So let me get this straight. People put out their location on a survival game on a public forum, and when others go and find them, its is not their own fault for giving out their own location?

You don't see teams give out their strategy on ESPN. Like if a coach said "we are going to be using x-play on the next game." and then cry foul when the other team read that article.

bottom line people should have the decency to not freaking abuse a person streaming wether they are popular or not, also saying they shouldnt stream is just ignorant, you do realise that millions of people stream their games? finding a streamer(S) match is very easy, like one person said the id at the bottom, or joining matches and making a sound or yelling in the match over voip while also having the streamers stream open can give clear indication if you in their stream or not, also clicking the match button at the same time while being on the same server region will work 50% of the time, stream sniping is cheating, its harrassment and you should have the decency not to do it, no matter how any idiot tries to rationalize it, ask a stream sniper why they stream snipe... most will say they dont like the streamer, or they like the attention, or they were bored, ect....

in general you follow the freaking rules or you/others get banned, simple... your playing a multiplayer (mmo) and you have clear rules put in place to make the game fair for all who play not just a radnom few trolls who like to grief or harrass others.

I will agree with you but at the same time I do not feel that stream sniping / teaming etc should be banned for 2 reasons..

Stream Sniping while considered bad sportsmanship on there part is done outside the game therefor outside the perview of the developer.. (Even Blizzard , Rockstar , EA , UBI Soft, That one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ developer that makes H1Z1 ) , wont ban for it because it's outside the scope and they cannot police the internet.

Teaming . Yes its against there TOS, No I am not advoicating it , But the developers have the tools to make this not work and they chose to ingore it... Problem is they give everyone the mechanic to do it and then punish them for it..

Like I said I do not advoiate it i do not condone it.. I just feel that they are streaching to far and get's into to much of a grey area legally and just from a way a game company should be ...

What why is this even a discussion? Stream sniping is harrasment and should not be accetable in any game. The ones that support stream sniping or are not against (same thing, passive acceptance, I dont know the correct english term) it are just ignorant. Adding delays or overlays doesnt stop streamsniping it only slows it down a bit. When others stream their games it comes from passion to play said games and to give entertainment to others. Stream sniping kills them both. I seriously hope that the ones that are not against it are just childs that dont understand that we all are people.
Yürei 14 AGO 2017 a las 1:10 p. m.
Stream sniping is bad and if the person is doing it on purpose, he/she should be banned if they have evidence. However, when the streamers don't take extra messures to stop stream snipers, they should not complain about being sniped. Grimmz puts effort to hide when he joins a lobby and hides his minimap. Meanwhile, summit1g doesn't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about doing anything and just calls everyone out when he is mad. tldr, stream sniping is bad, but shouldn't excuse the streamer from not being responsible too.

Such a waste of resource to have a support for that.

I've watched streamers team up...so should that be a bannable offence? If they are going to cheat then who cares?

People stream so others can watch them play.
People can use that stream to either be entertained by it or use the info the stream gives to cheat in the game.
The cheaters deserve to be banned.

yes, if they team up that's a bannable offence.
Why does some streamers cheating mean that people who cheat against streamers shouldn't also be punished?
