no , because i have it only to play games. . when i want to use the host linux i just change the video input source and keyboard mouse (i have dedicated mouse to windows otherwise the gaming software is not working)
if the question was if i could do anything else , the answer is simple . everything !
p.s. i hope in two months maybe i havebetter line than the adsl i have now and i will stream . in a test i did the only problem was only my upload speed . i used only 3 cores from the 4 to my vm and was at 70% with the OBS running same time.
My cpu is the intel 4820k OC to 4.2.Mhz
Something like this has to do with understanding networking or red hat amirite? Maybe java or c++ ?
vfio driver is simply c if i understand correct what you are asking . linux kernel devs created it and add it to the core of linux , but this paravirtulized feature is working almost 10 years .... from 2008 in XEN . now it became more friendly with vfio
watch the first try before 10 years : https://youtu.be/5I13E1MQbMc
This is fantastic stuff.
there is not any difference to a real pc .some times it is better because i can assign what hardware resources i will use to vm .for example in games i am using the 3 of the 4 cpu that my 4820k has and they are more than enough
as for vga . i have an older vga assigned to linux machine to do other staffs and i am thinking to make it streaming sevrer when i move on to the new house where i will have better interent line for streamings
what is your point ? a 60 fps movie can catch the 129 fps ? .
watch the last video with 80-100 fps captured with MSI Afterburner and come back again with your comments about 60 fps

i did many tweaks in both OS . first of all i am not using antivirus in windows vm and i followed microsoft guide to improve perfomance in win 7 and blackviber's advices of what services can i disable that are not needed
in linux host i enabled huge pages and i wrote a guide how to in fedora 25 : https://vfiogaming.blogspot.com/2017/08/guide-how-to-enable-huge-pages-to.html
the bigger difference came from huge pages tweak in linux not from windows tweaks . huge gain in cpu usage !!!
