How do I spectate another player after I am dead?

I believe this is something we can do, or if not, sorry for the useless post lol. I tried to do it but I can't find way - any help?

It's only in Duoe and Squad, and there should be a spectate button towards the bottom-right. Page Up/Page Down changes characters.

There's also a problem when you have xbox controller connected. I can't spectate my friends after I die, and after this new patch I can't even access menu during game.

Anyway, I think there should be a button in the menu to disable controller. It's frustrating to disconnect it every time I play PUBG. My usb ports are under the table and I'm old and lazy :P
