like i stated alreay....haters.
PUBG has more things working properly, but DAYZ has its own PvP and PvE system to contend with, which cause many more bugs and optimization issues...
both are great games , just my opinion
I like the survival part the most from dayz and i like the fast pace from pubg.
DayZ is an unnecessary rehash of the mod. BI saw dollar signs and ran withn it. It does nothing new that another game hasn't done better in the survival genre.
so many games but not......dayz SA...and still have an opinion.
Refunded
so wow you played a whole 2 hours ;) man you can have you'r opinion you deserved it^^
Yes I do
All of the above has a great deal to do with what server you choose, or stumble upon.
The learning curve is moderate, but nothing crazy.
With PUBG for me, besides the PVP aspect, it combines the awareness from DayZ, along with the looting. On actual gameplay, besides a certain play style pattern or strategy, the playing field is pretty even. Sure there are those crazy one offs, but most situations that ended poorly were due to mistakes made. Besides network performance, the server you choose will still be the same PUBG scenario, so the pick up and play factor is great.
I think DayZ and PUBG may share some common things, but they are totally different. One is competitive with rankings and official states, the other isn't.
Also, for me the time requirement is greater in DayZ compared to PUBG. With PUBG a game will last, if you get the dinner, less than an hour. With DayZ, that is not the case.
If you want a jump in type game where you can "win" play PUBG.
If you want something more open ended with a mix of PVP, PVE and the ability to pick up where you left off then go DayZ.
I enjoy both. Have played DayZ SA since launch, almost 1,000 hours, and have 300 hours on PUBG. They are really two totally different games.
13 hours are enough to say it's a crappy game and boring to death, else i would have put more hours on it.
If you are brand new to gaming and maybe prefer a slower pace adventure type game that is dayz..
Dayz it may take you 2 full days of playing to find someone and maybe they shoot at you or maybe you make friends. The animals and zombies can be pretty tough though so it's not a push over.
PUBG has the same looting fun as DAYZ but you are going to have a fire fight sooner than later. At the very least you will have a fire fight in 20 mins of playing. SO very fast pace versus DAYZ.
Both game help each though.
Dayz helps newer players to learn looting and controls , exploring sandbox environments.
PUBG will help for encounters with enemies and use of the different types of weapons.
Dayz you may not fire your gun for many days on end.
Pubg you will fire as fast as you have a weapon and target.
Which is better cannot be quantified since each has its own unique perspective.
