How effective is level 2 helmet + Armor?

Cause I just got wasted in 3 shots by a micro UZI so either they were all headshots are armor is worthless.

They're good when you have cover. If you stand in each others face the gun with the fastest rate of fire will naturally win.

Got 1 shotted with AKM from a distance with level 2 helmet and I mean I was hill rozhok and got shot from roof school.

Were you 100% health though?. I've died in situations with decent gear but it's more than likely I wasn't 100% health.

Yeah I was full 100% health, running away from school (like 400 meters away) and still got 1 tapped in the head. Or this guy was a cheater or the 7.62 ammo is just OP against these helmets. I know a level 3 helmet is a 2 tap scenario with a Kar98, but AKM 1 tapping a level 2 helmet? This should just knock it off actually.

Ah so it's not nearly as effective as I thought.

I thought this game worked off armor penetration sort of like CS:GO but it would appear it works more like Siege with just flat damage reduction unless I'm misreading.

Then i rewatch the replay and no doubt a hacker are spraying from a distance hitting 100% of the shots killing me with multiple shots in like half a second.

When a hacker spray and hit literary 100% of the shots you die so fast it appears instant and only one bullet. Sometimes i have had to rewatch replays in slow motion to realise it was multiple hits.

Yeah i'm 90% sure that it was a 1 tap, as the last thing I heard was 1 AKM shot & I died instantly or as you said it could have been the other way around that it was a cheater etc.
