How do I use pain killers?

I have painkillers. My health is less than 100%. I push the button to use said painkillers, but nothing... What am I missing? Thanks

u have to be standing still and hold right click

sometimes its glitched and you need to switch weapons or put weapon away.

Unarming with "x" (putting weapon away) usually solves these interaction glitches for me. Also firing one shot with your weapon solves it for some people, although I never do this due to the unwanted noise.

There's a bug with full auto fire that causes meds to stop working until you fire the weapon again. However if you are in situation where you cannot fire as you don't want to give yourself away, as other people have listed, holstering your weapons with 'x' will allow you to heal.

Basicly what happends sometimes is that after firing in full auto, you are still in some sort of firing or reloading state, which in turn doesn't allow you to heal. When you fire your gun it sets the state back into right order.

also helps to amp up on painkillers and energy drinks when you are down to the final 10 and the circle keeps getting smaller. every little bit helps...and it counters damage from being outside the circle as well
