Why does the Red Zone exist?

Its just a random zone that if you get unlucky enough to be in when it spawns you might die. Whats the point of that? Its not fun, it adds nothing to the game. It spawned with me in the middle and the first bomb one hit me.

How is that fun for anyone? I know its not really an issue because no one ever really dies to it, but what is the point of putting it in in the first place?

What you do is, you get the stunt bike, you do a full lap of that mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥, find the nearest hill and 360 into the sky.

Actually you can use red zone to your advantage. If it so happens on an area where more than likely players are, you can sneak up on them in red zone. I've been in red zone many times and it's never killed me... yet

I guess its some sort of ''kick'' but its rather annoying since its so rare getting killed by the zone and when it happends its just so annoying and having the zone like 3 or even 4 times at pochinki is just constantly ear rape most of the time it even glitches around

You can't rely on that. It's killed me twice. Once in a solo and me and my friend in a duo. In squads, the red zone hit near our car and knocked three of us out but our other friend was still in the car without a shred of damage and was able to pick us up. So don't rely on not being hit by it.

But its hardly danger. I think of the 100+ red zones i've walked across i have been hit one time.

I often run into red zones deliberately, thinking it as an area of opportunities. Never got hit.

Yesterday however i was in a situation where i still had no loot except for a pistol, when i hear this car driving up a house. I'm thinking let's try and take this fella's loot. I yolo into the house where i was immediately shot from two sides. I wasn't the only one drawn by the car sound i thought so as fast as i ran into the house i was back outside again, took the mofo's car to my escape and boom. The one time i wasn't aware of the red zone i got blown away :).

Could be that sometime down the road they plan on doing more with it and just added it to the game in the mean time. Possibly they plan on reaching a point where almost all buildings are destructable. Then the red zone would be something to be feared.

Always get hit in the red zone always laugh when it happens as it fun. It's to push out large group of campers and so on. It's there to make you rethink the game each time. Happy it actually in the game adds something to it

I love the red zone, it never hits me plus it makes me look like im in a war movie

I feel it hads a little more to the game and i like it,

but It may turn alternatly change into different types of zone like a radiation zone or foggy/rain bad weather zone even zombie lol

BTW it didn't spawn you in the middle of a redzone, you chose to land there bud

Well i don't really agree with you. I don't see the red zone as a dead zone or no go zone. It's just a zone with higher or certain risk, a place where unexpected things may happen also. Circumstances some people will try to make advantage of, others seek shelter for and you were unfortunate, as we all are 'sometimes'. All you need to to is join the next game. The red zone is just something to keep in mind so i believe it does add to the game one way or another.

Btw, you'll never see a red zone appear during the very last circles, it's a big map also and most of times you'll be more than capable of avoiding it all together.
