Edit: there is no luck with positioning until end game. being able to position yourself well is a skill and one that you should put alot of effort into developing, in my opinion, more so than shooting.
It's different in this game when you only have one life compared to others. Most of the time when you get shot at and you have zero direction of where he is, you're pretty much a goner.
Maybe a custom game option at least. I'd like to see if it was too OP of an option or just flat out cheap.
Calm down ya angry guy. There are just more times in this game that you fail to spot your shooter over any chance to retaliate... Most of it is circle luck.
Did you make noise? People will hear it and make a note of it.
Did you shoot your weapon the last 5 min ? People will remember that shot.
Did you open all the doors in a house? People will know someone was here and and can tell they went towards the safe zone. They will track you.
Did run across an open field? A good player will wait until you go across the field just so he doesn't have a hard time to kill you and wait until anyone else spots you too so he'll know somonenelse is there. Don't run across fields. If you do run zig zag.
