Hearing is vital in this game, always have it to max in game so it delivers every possible sound clearly from the game itself to you.
Then lower your OS or device sounds to what your comfortable with.
Haha I'm the same, if I have everything at max volume, i'd probably be deaf in a week xD
I use my windows sound at 50% lol
windows/audio drivers, what doesn't break your hearing. It's just a game, don't fk up your ears over game.

I tried this, I can hear the footsteps yes, but I'm having problems with other audios like I can't pin point right away the exact location of the enemy shooting at me because everything sounds like muffled.
