Friends Are Still Appearing Offline

Occasionaly i'll see a friend online, then i'll click refresh and it shows him offline when he's playing the game. My friends list is public, i've validated files, restarted steam and my router, and have refreshed multiple times in-game. If anyone has any help it'd be greatly appreciated.

Make sure they are not in a party. (you can be in a party by yourself)

Happens to our group often, just click "leave party" and then refresh and they should be able to join your group.

I'll test that theory whenever one of my friends gets online. It's quite irratating that none of my friends show up online even though they're playing the game.

I have to ask because im wondering...Are you trying to invite them when they are in a "match"? Or when they are in the menu?

Even if I wanted to invite them, they don't show up online even when they are. I haven't been able to fix this problem to play with any of my friends.

Hey man, did you ever find a fix for this? I am still having this problem. Although sometimes they will appear, with it saying in party. But most of the time it simply has everyone offline.

Mine is bugged too, i can see from steam friends list that they are online and playing the game but most of them appear offline whey they shouldnt be. I asked a couple and they say its working fine for them just another weird issue with unfinished games :P
