WHY BLOCK FOV????

I had to increase the fov in the script files of this game. I do not see this as cheating because this game does not support wide screen moniters and when i play at my native resolution the fov is very low.
Now they blocked this so called "Cheating" i can no longer play this game until they put a fov slider in game.

Bull ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. The default FOV in this game looks like a console game. Also in the early 2000s we were using 4:3 monitors.

I didn't see any confirmation, all their twitter post said is that they are excited to release the first monthly content patch/ optimization patch next week. So unless there's more information I missed, I don't think it's confirmed yet.

I hope it next week, would love the devs to death if they added FOV slider that fast.

Here is a fun fact of someone who is having seasickness all day long because "typical defaut fov" I need fov to be higher to enjoy the game, I do get advantages of seeing things more natural, but hey, those on low fov has the advantage to see further, me playing with a higher fov have no real advantage out in the open. But yeah, the faster they add a fov slider, the more we can enjoy the game. These low fov's are doable, but only if I sit 5 meters away from my small 24" screen. If I want to get closer to see, I cannot. Seasickness kicks me tiny entagled mind.

So you're probably some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 20 year old jackoff who thinks he's super adult about not complaining, guess what, we paid for it, we can complain, that's how the world works. Stop acting like you're super grown up when all you're doing is making the game worse for others by accepting low standards in your pc games.

Edit: Everyone that wants better FOV in this game (Which is a ♥♥♥♥ load of people) are ENTITLED to it, because they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PAID FOR IT.

Yes yes markes we get it, you still play with 4:3 screen and refuse to get along with times. FOV is industry standard, it's not advantage it's option that is there just like resolution, textures, vsync and anything else. Just because you don't use them doesn't mean everyone who does is filthy cheater who does nothing but tries to get unfair advantage over your 4:3 aspect ratio.

I don't use a 4:3 screen and yes, in a game like this having a bigger FOV is a clear advantage. This is not CS or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that.

Not everyone, just those that think they have the right to have this and that. I don't mind some adjustment to the current FoV, making it a little bit wider, but I would love if devs would stick with the decision of making it the same for everybody. That would show how much in the right track these guys are.

Whoa chill there buddy. That's pretty hafty claim. If this FOV is such a big deal and such advantage. Why will there be slider for it to be added to a game? It won't be even playing field if everyone is using different settings. Cause you know... as you are saying wider FOV = advantage. So it's not same for everybody.

The slider will be just for 1st person.
