Battle eye dxgi.dll blocked

When launching game I am presented with this message from BattlEye Launcher.

13:26:55: Starting BattlEye Service...
13:26:57: Launching game...
13:26:58: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game.
13:26:58: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\System32\dxgi.dll".


I have tried the following;
1.)Deleting common files for Battle Eye and verifying the integrity
2.)Turn off firewall
3.)Re download/install game
4.)Allowed C:\Windows\System32\dxgi.dll as an exception on Malwarebytes
5.)Numerous variations of the 4 previous steps

No success, I just had a fresh wipe of my computer as well.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

To everybody having the problem. very simple fix:
1) Go to game directory mine: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64"
2) delete the file Cookies.dat and delete the file dxgi.dll
3) launch the game works for me

Edit if didn't work go to steam and game properties then launch options write -safe
if it did help cheers

if we delete the dxgi.dll it means reshade will not works anymore am i right? or is there any possible way to use reshade still?

i've got this error message,but i didn't do anything and now, still work!I don't know why....

Is all because reshade.
Exit Steam, go to your re-shade folder and delete it. \Steam\SteamApps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64\
Delete the whole folder and then delete dxgi.dll and dxgi.ini.
Start Steam and play
Problem fixed.
You might have to run VERIFY INTEGRITY OF THE GAME FILES on steam, game properties.

For everyone getting this error in combination with reshade:

1. Close the game
2. Go into the Battleye folder (steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64\BattlEye)
3. Use Uninstall_Battleye.bat
4. Use Install_Battleye.bat
5. Start BEService_x64.exe
6. Start the game!

I use reshade and had the same problem.

• Go to steam.
  
• Go to libraries
  
• Find Pubg and right click
  
• Go to "properties"
  
• Go to "local files"
  
• Go to "verify integrity of game files"
  
• For me It said 1 file would be downloaded and replaced and boom!

I had deleted the bluehole splash screen so maybe that was the cause. Not sure.

Back to potato shootin.
Maybe when i get that chicken dinner I can make some mash potatoes to go with it.

Reshade is working fine.

try dragging the file out of the directory and let the game create a new one

I ran into the issue again.

This worked for me today :)


I was able to fix it by:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64

Rename the files with .ini and .dll at the end; add a 2 to them at the end
so for example rename " dxgi.dll " to " dxgi.dll2 "

Open up Pugb and reshader will not load but the game should load fine.

While the game is open rename the files back the original.
:Take away the 2s you added to the end

close pubg

Open up pubg and there ya go, reshader is back in action.

Go get yourself some chicken dinner

Simple fix.

Delete dxgi.dll and Run PUBG and Close PUBG
and restore dxgi.dll
and run it again.

To fix Battleye File Block

Navigate to C:\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64
( or whatever drive you have it installed on)

Close Steam
Delete dxgi.dll to recycle bin
Launch steam and launch PUBG (if it doesn't launch PUBG properly "Blank Screen" force close and launch PUBG again)
Join server then leave
Close PUBG and close steam
Restore dxgi.dll from recycle bin
Open steam and launch PUBG
Enjoy :)
