Punches don't do damage

When I punch people nothing happens even after 10 punches, when they punch me blood comes out and they kill me in 2 punches. wth. literally one punch takes half my hp and yet i spam them and they never die, i've yet to kill one with punching whereas with other melee weapons i have no problems.

You can one punch or two punch kill someone if you do jumping head punches. But if you're with your fists that means it's very early in the game and the lag is at it's maximum so it's very random. The fact that you have no idea if you're actually hitting someone (no scream or blood splatters) makes it feel even worse.

i think the aiming for punching and melee is off somehow, or you have to do it just right.

Lag is bad at times and has some weird effects... I killed a guy with a frying pan and I swear the final blow landed when he was at least 20 meters away. He wasn't really of course, just lag made it appear so.

It was probably me mofo. Just goes to show how much of the game is rhythm and timing.
