there is a bug if you as much as touch it it becomes blurry even when you put it back to 100% scale which in theory shoult be 1:1 pixel mapping.
the game actually puts this value at 100.123456 (or any combination of #'s after the decimal) this makes everything blurry.
have a look in "GameUserSettings.ini" and look for the line "ScreenScale=100.XXXXXX". if you touched the slider then it would be 100.123456 even if you set it back to 100 in game. just set it back to "ScreenScale=100.000000" and save the file. launch the game and the blur should be gone. I even have Anti Aliasing on Ultra, and Post processing on Low, and it still looks crisp.
don't know why it does it, but it really messes up the pixel mapping and turns everything blurry.
before I was playing with post process off and AA off and 120% scale, when I went into the "GameUserSettings.ini" it was set to 120.0123456 ( or some numbers after decimal) and while it was clearer in game then 100% it was still not more clear then 100.000000.
I notice that even playing with post process/AA settings while the game is running can blur the entire image even if you didn't touch the scaling slider, then becomes clear again on game restart. so check in that file and make sure you set it to 100.000000, and dont touch any settings while playing the game if you must change any setting do it in the menu then restart the game.
also make sure "hidden items" is enabled in the "view" tab
This!!! found out about it before reading this post but i just had to quote this as its true, my game was blurry as ♥♥♥♥ no matter what settings until i changed the above :)
hi even with the hidden items enabled im unable to find these settings. i know its an old thread but i just hope it fixes my blurriness
If anyone is having issues locating the file: Open file explorer or the run command and type in %appdata% then press Enter. You will then end up in the "Roaming" folder instead of the "Local" folder, so go one folder level up, then into the "Local" folder, the rest of the path should then be as mentioned above, so in summary something like this: c:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.
