freelook
I think it should be enabled even while running or moving.

Or is it?

You get a slight allowance when you look left or right before your character starts turning, but yeah Alt is good for me, aiming would be impossible if it was enabled all the time when moving or running.. if it's bothering you try re-mapping it to a mouse button or something
MY problem is, when I am running (using K+m) freelook is not allowed to me.

In fact I can only free look when standing still.

In Dayz for example, even when you are in full sprint, you can free look.

That seems weird, are you actually holding down left alt along with W and Shift? Also DayZ has a freelook button like this does, just on a different key from memory.

You might be pressing too many keys for your keyboard to register, if you're pressing w+shift to run and then k+m to look around, u sure it has anti-ghosting? I can do it without any problems with alt.

@Bronemos- +1 this, I didn't even consider that keyboards still have ghosting! It's like 3 or 4 keys without anti-ghosting isn't it?

Ok to be more precise, when I move my mouse while free looking my whle characrter moves.

Is there a way to disable the mouse interfering with character movement while pressing down the freelook key.

For example I want mouse not being able to turn my char while I am freelooking.

But when I press my move keys, character must keep moving.

@Fritzl that sounds like it's not working or you may be pressing the wrong key.. If you hold the left alt key (which is the default freelook) and look using the mouse, your character shouldnt be turning at all. You should be able to use W,A,S,D to move forward/backwards and strafe left/right but if you're holding the freelook button while mouse looking your char shouldnt be moving with the mouse at all.

I am using the arrow keys and a button on my mouse to freelook.

Are you saying I should use WASD as a must and alt as a must to be able to free look properly?

I'm fairly sure I read something about a bug with button re-mapping on mice, if you're able to use ALT as your freelook it should work. If I find the known bugs post where I saw it, I'll link it here for you :)

either your keybinding is not working, or button you use for freelook is not working. cause freelook works fine in any movement situation. just try using default keybinding for it.
