Peek toggle
I don't know about other people but having to hold Q while pressing A at the same time (and E+D) is a bit awkward. I thought having an option to have a toggle mode for peeking would help make it a lot more comfortable. In the meantime does anyone have a work around for it? I thought of rebinding the keys to my 2 mouse side buttons but i'm using them for other functions.

Always used my 2 mouse keys to lean since playing R6, But i agree they should have a toggle on for lean. Maybe try the mouse keys in the mean time?

I use Q and E, isn't that the norm?

Yeah it is, but every game i've played with a peek function has been a tap rather than a hold of the button. I just think it would be easier to peek while using A and D keys if i only had to tap Q or E to peek.

I've been trying to find a solution for this myself :/
Let me know if you figure anything out!

i agree. its awkward on the moue buttons aswell. it requires you to shift your hand, and mess your aim up.

Since R6S i use Q to lean left and click mouse scroll to right to lean right, since E is my key to interact with things NOMATHER WHAT GAME

I dont even use lean, infact i have reconfigured my buttons so that E is now interact and Q is now used to select grenades. F for me now is used as push to talk, X is auto-run, press my mouse wheel in and i go prone.

I also have left alt(free look)set to a button on my mouse where my thumb is using LGS.(i have a Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum)

You can change the GameUserSettings.ini to toggle it:

Search "bTogglePeek=False" and replace to this:

"bTogglePeek=True"

enjoy!

If you just go to "gameplay" in the settings, and scroll down to the second portion there is an option called "peeking". You can set your peeking to tap or double tap right there.

Look at the OP date guys. April 1st. I'm aware that they finally added it in the game options. Back then there was no option. The same way Hold to ADS was not an option but it is now.
