What's your Cpu cooler?

I noticed you're overclocking both your cpu and gpu while playing this game. Unless you're using a better cooling method than just stock fans, you should turn the OCs off

Just to for future reference. The 4790 is a non K version, meaning its not overclockable. However, changing your gpu back to default speeds and try again. What is your current cooler on your cpu?

GPU is fine to overclock the regular shroud fans can easily take care of it. CPU on the otherhand will get pretty hot without a decent cpu cooler.
its a normal fan no water cooling...

What's your gpu fan speed at?

Download MSI afterburner and put fan speed to auto or user defined if your not running any fan speed adjustments it could be that your gpu is stuck at 40% happened to me a while back.

Also its a must using Afterburners overlay to show gpu temp/ultilization, cpu temp/utilization, fps, vram and ram while playing any EA game.

If you have got your gpu OC'd the game might perform better with the OC off I tested OC's with the game and it ran very hot but didn't get better performance from it. Best waiting till it is optimized for OC settings.

THIS, I have a GTX 1070 and I often OC, PUBG does NOT play well with my OC while every other game is fine, definitely switch to stock for PUBG
