South African Server

Hey guys and girls!

I see 2 new server locations have been added (South America and Oceanian). I also see you guys wanna do a ping lock in the future and this becomes an issue for many South African players. Many South Africans have bought the game and are enjoying it so i'm hoping we could get a server as well. We have servers in many other games as well (Dota 2, CS:GO, Battlefield ect) and it would be great if we could just get a server of our own. We generally have to play on the EU servers with about 200 ping. Many gamers in countrys surrounding South Africa also connect to our servers for good ping. A server here will also benifit them.

Please consider this guys as we are customers too!

No, there is no announcement or even a hint of that. Again, until Amazon Web Services makes servers available in South Africa, you are not likely to ever see a server there.

True there is no plan at this point for South African servers. And PUBG is not hosted on Amazon anymore they moved to the Azure (Microsoft) servers. Although both Amazon and Microsoft are planing on data-centers in South Africa for 2018 it's still no guarantee PUBG will launch South African servers.
