I see your point. Because of how drawn out a lot of the squad firefights are, the wall ends up claiming a lot more lives than any other game mode. I also find solo to be hardest since If you get shot, you just die. There is no way of getting revived and plus people are all spread out much more instead of close knit groups. Which means you have to watch every single angle at all times.
and then theres the issue on first person or third person.
for me the hardest part with solo vs squad is that i cant hear that well. so playing solo, guys can run up on me and i dont hear them or when shot at i dont know the direction it comes from. however with squads at least my teamates usually hear and can call out.
again personal preference. they both have there plus and minus. sure you cant peak corners like you can in third. however, that also means that someone could be peeking you. i find both to be equal.
