A more general answer though would be yes, this game does work with a controller. What I'd suggest you do is use Steam's Big Picture mode, go into the Settings, then Controller Settings, add your gamepad and check the "xbox configuration support" box. This is going to enable Steam's shockingly powerful controller configurator, allowing you to use your gamepad on pretty much any game imaginable with whatever button mapping you'd like, and access loads of community configurations that you can download and apply. Example: If the line is ....... (Key=Mouse_Scroll_Up) , (Key=GamePad_D_Pad_Right))) , after erasing should be ....... (Key=Mouse_Scroll_Up))).
