computer -> DAC -> Amp -> either stereo setup ( Nubert 313 ) OR Beyerdynamics DT770 Pro and DT990 Pro
I still have issues with figuring out where shots come from.
This setup is running everything clean and free of noise or other problems but this game is a mess in terms of sound.
We tested this with a soundcard ( Asus Xonar ) and 2 headsets and another stereo setup - same result.
It sounds like the sound engine can only tell you ONE ( 1! ) direction of the shots.
Front? Back? Left? Right? Thats it. Only 1, not 2 of them to be sure what was going on.
I do a bug report too.
Watch out because these guys will surely pin it as you are to blame in this discussion, must be hardware related -.-
currently using myself bayerdynamics custom studio's and no problems, my main headphones for pc gaming atm.
well got one problem only but its just that currently its EA game and gun shots, foot steps etc. are behind same effect slider than backround ambients and ambients are way too loud, overtake many times even point blank gun shots indoors. for me its nonstop wind tunnel becouse really wide frequency responsive of headphones
and still i can pin point exatcly where shots are coming, no matter how far shots are coming.
and what are you bringing to the table? "git gud" gtfo pleb
tested game with my bluetooth headphones, no problems for me and yes they are low tier piece of ♥♥♥♥ headphones of sony, poor audio quality.
this includes also OS drivers, every OS work diffrently, myself im still using windows 7 ultimate and wont stop using ever, most stable windows OS. what i know about newer windows OS they have got lot driver issues and conflicts.
Its more about calling out when someone spread misinformation as gospel just cause they have a problem either real or not and spreads it as if its the games fault.
Seems like 1 out 5 games and it's annoying because you have to end the match with that sound, restart the game and try again.
We won a duo game this morning while sound was bugged, so no salt here.
The game is fun and i got nothing bad to say besides that on issue -> bug report an done.
Convincing people with issues that their issues are not possible or real is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It's definitly NOT a hardware or setup issue. It's game-related and only happens in this game. And you can reproduce it. Even on another system - what we did.
No discussion needed for that.
